| In addition to providing service in all areas of corporate and commercial law, labor law litigation and arbitration, both for advice and dispute-resolution, we have expertise in the following practice areas : |

| With this range of experience, our full service approach means, for the entrepreneur, we can provide advice and assistance from the time a group of individuals have an idea for a new business, through incorporation, rounds of financing, through execution of the business plan all the way to exit -- via acquisition or listing on a securities exchange. For the foreign-based multinational, whether well-established or itself a young company in its home jurisdiction, we assist in set-up of a subsidiary and choice of the appropriate legal entity, and then assist in assuring that arm's length, tax-efficient intercompany relationships are properly documented; or we advise in implementing the foreign company's acquisition or partnering strategy. Along the way, we will have -- for example -- assisted with development of standard agreements, negotiation of strategic commercial partnerships, fended off cybersquatters and unfair competition claims, or defended the company in a tax audit. We also provide corporate secretarial services for more than 150 different companies with the assistance of three experienced paralegals that work closely with the firm's attorneys. This service includes the preparation, and where applicable, public filing, of the many corporate documents required by French law as well as the maintenance of clients' corporate minute books and share registries. Everyone at the firm speaks English, and a number of our lawyers have advanced legal degrees from universities in the United States or England. Other languages spoken include Spanish, Portuguese, German, Hebrew and Russian. We have remained independent of the various alliances and associations of law firms, but we are well connected to leading like-minded law firms around the world, and we have particularly strong relationships throughout Europe and North America. Many clients ask us to arrange Europe-wide advice, and we are well equipped to coordinate legal work on a multi-jurisdictional basis. |
